These numbers come from real engagements, not a career estimate. The largest business plan I wrote, defended and had approved was twenty million dollars; another, at ten million, covered the complete redesign of a backup environment at Bombardier Aerospace.
But a number never tells you whether the work was good. What matters more is what remains in an organisation two years after I leave — and no table measures that.
Forty years is not a guarantee of competence. It is a guarantee of having seen enough mistakes to recognise the ones that repeat.

The most useful engagements are not the largest. A badly structured fifteen-server estate endangers a small business just as surely as an incident in a four-thousand-server one.

Describe the context in a few lines. I answer with a proposed angle, not a brochure.
